Hey, guys! It's been a while since we've done one of these, but I figure we should let some of the n00bs in on the fun!

Alright, here we go. This is a psychology test that will require you to get inside the mind of your character. So your character is imagining him or herself walking through the woods and...
- Who is your character walking with?
- Your character comes across an animal. What kind of animal is it?
- What interaction takes place between your character and the animal?
- Your character walks deeper into the woods. He or she enters a clearing and finds a house. Briefly describe the house, and be sure to mention the size. Is it surrounded by a fence?
- Your character enters the house and finds a table. What is on the table?
- Your character exits the house through the back door and finds him or herself back in the woods. There, they find a cup lying on the ground. What material is the cup made of?
- What does your character do with the cup?
- Your character walks out of the forest and finds a body of water. What type of body of water is it?
- What does your character do with the water? Does he or she wade in, go skinny dipping, what?
Hi everyone! Hayley here with her third character, Blaise Zabini. More can be found on him here.
Blaise is, as his first name suggests, rather apathetic. However, the plus side of that if you have a weaker character is that he's rarely mean for the sake of being mean and would mostly prefer non-Slytherins to leave him alone. He's not above mocking the stupid or occasionally rubbing his new role as Gryffindor prefect in their faces, though not to the extent where Ginny and Seamus etc would take it upon themselves to pound him as he likes his nose where it is and he thinks it's rather nice, thanks.
I'm not sure how sociable he'll be towards non-Slytherins or the odd Ravenclaw who doesn't grate on his nerves. He could go either way but is definitely friendlier than Theodore or Draco, not having the additional worry of the possibility of Voldemort running off with his lunch money and perhaps being naturally better at small talk and schmooze anyway. He believes everyone has the potential to be useful, so he wouldn't burn his bridges by being nasty to most characters.
And yeesssss, he is a blood supremist, but certainly not to the extent that some of his other housemates are. With him it's more of a cultural thing, like dating someone of your own religion, and he doesn't think that there's anything inherently wrong with Muggleborns per se.

HEY GUYS.
We are sorry this was not more clearly stated, but the students came back to Hogwarts on the 6th.
Over the next few days, students will be questioned by the Carrows. There is no rhyme or reason in the order that they ask, but by Monday you can post that your student has been asked the following questions:
1) Give us a more detailed picture of your bloodline? (if yours is not as well known as, say, Malfoy's is, you may have had to draw them a tree marking magical and nonmagical people).
2) How do your parents feel about the Ministry of Magic? What are they doing to support the Ministry of Magic?
Why are they doing this? Oh, ho. Who knows? But you should comment here and give us an idea of what the answers have been.
GET BACK TO US ASAP.

Hi everyone! My name's Suzanne and I'm new to the game, bringing Miss Orlanda Egg with me. She's a sixth year Ravenclaw who's way too awkward and nerdy for her own good. Due to her slight people phobia, she's not much of a talker and more than likely she hasn't said more than ten words to people outside of her House. If Orlanda has spoken to your character at some point, she probably stuttered her way through the conversation, running away at the first available moment.
However, she's trying to get better. After five years of being at Hogwarts, she's decided to open up more and try to push herself out of her comfort zone. Once she's able to loosen up around someone, her true nerdiness comes out. When given the opportunity, she'll talk for hours about her love of Star Trek and old movies. She can only speak one other language besides for English, and that's Klingon. She throws quotes out at random, and is generally obsessed with the series. The Carrows took her limited edition Captain Kirk's phaser at the beginning of the year, so if your character ever wants to complain about the Carrows, she'd be more than happy to give her opinion.
Also, Orlanda's not very fond of other girls. She was mostly raised by men (her grandfather, father, and older brother) and girls tend to baffle her. She loves the boys, though.
So, friends/enemies? My aim is Zanne Turtle and if you'd like to know more about Orlanda, her info is here. ^_^

Hey! It's your friendly, neighborhood mod squad here with a few quick notes!
First, as you may notice, there are 31 days in our in-game month of December, but only 29 in our real-life February. In order to get things re-aligned in our upcoming game year, we're going to do a TIME CRUNCH. This means that we're just going to pretend that nobody had anything interesting to do or say on the 29th or 30th and that tomorrow will be New Year's Eve in-game.
Second, your characters will be returning home on the fifth of January, in game-time.
Third, I love you all! Have a happy IC New Year! :)

OH HAI KIDDOS. Just FYI~ On Tuesday after classes the Hogwarts Express leaves for winter holidays! Comment here if your kiddo will be stickin' around and having Christmas with the Carrows
FYI -- Those at Seamus's party got CAUGHT. RUH ROH! So comment here if your character was present :X
Hey folk! The holiday is quickly coming up and the Carrow Crazies want to make sure that people don't go home feeling HAPPY. In order to stem any pro-Harry movement that may be going on, they have decided to give a little bit of ~information~ out to the students.
Today, all students will be reminded by each professor that attendance at dinner is mandatory, and failure to show up will mean seven hours detention. At dinner, the Carrows will be giving a speech on THE EVIL OF HARRY POTTER. They will explain, at terrible length, how Harry killed Dumbledore. The reasons, they will say, for his murder are the following:
- Anger that Dumbledore pretended to be something he is not (with quotes from Rita Skeeter's book being read)
- Fury that Dumbledore wanted to help Harry/irrational behavior
- Harry is a loose canon, mentally unstable, and needs serious help.
Students are then allowed to go.
That night, Luna will talk with Neville and Ginny and the two of them will use the coins to get in touch with DA members. During various times during the next day DA members can go to the RoR and pick up the copies of The Quibbler articles that Luna, Ginny and Neville painstakingly duplicated. DA members will be told to pass them out to whoever they can without getting caught -- so expect them to start filtering through to people by the 13th. The articles talk about how Harry is still fighting the good fight, how people support him, how Snape killed Dumbledore, that it is only a matter of time before You-Know-Who goes down, etc!
Thanks, and let us know if you have any questions!

So there was a Dumbledore's Army meeting on Friday. What happened? Basically this: Neville got the remaining members together in the Room of Requirement and confessed about the firecracker thing. Then, he admitted that it was a failure and that he needed their help for the next one. He said something along the lines of, "WE GOTTA STICK IT TO THEM CARROWS." Hopefully, there would have been a cheer or something here.
He asked if anyone thought it a good idea to bring in new blood to replace all the graduates/muggleborns/Trio they lost and took a vote of hands. He said they'd discuss names in the next meeting (although mentioned that he thought Slytherins would be hard to trust) and then opened up the floor, in case anyone else had anything to say. If your character is in the DA, please respond here with whether or not he or she would have attended, what his or her opinion on new membership is, and whether he or she would have said anything at the end. Thankee!
If your character isn't in the DA, we promise there'll be more plot for you soon. :>
